This policy explains refund and cancellation terms for Langctl subscriptions, operated by Litcode Private Limited.

Complies with Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and applicable Indian laws.

Subscription Plans

  • Free: $0/month - No payment required
  • Pro: $39/month - Billed monthly in advance
  • Team: $99/month - Billed monthly in advance
  • Enterprise: Custom pricing

⚡ Important: Fees charged in advance at beginning of each billing cycle. Auto-renewal unless cancelled.

Refund Policy

7-Day Money-Back Guarantee

7-day money-back guarantee for new Pro and Team subscribers:

  • Eligibility: First payment only when subscribing to new paid plan
  • Timeframe: Request within 7 calendar days from initial payment
  • Amount: 100% refund of subscription fee
  • Processing: 5-10 business days to original payment method
  • Limit: One-time per customer

What Is NOT Refundable

  • Renewal Charges: Monthly renewals are non-refundable
  • Partial Months: No refunds/credits for partial service periods
  • Upgrade Fees: Non-refundable when changing plans
  • Past 7 Days: Requests after 7-day window ineligible

How to Request Refund

    • Account email address
    • Organization name
    • Date of subscription
    • Reason (optional)
  3. We verify eligibility and process within 2-3 business days
  4. Confirmation email sent when processed

Cancellation Policy

Cancel Anytime

Cancel subscription anytime. No cancellation fees or penalties.

How to Cancel

Method 1: Self-Service (Recommended)

  1. Log in to Langctl dashboard
  2. Navigate to Subscription page
  3. Click "Manage Billing" button
  4. In Stripe portal, select "Cancel subscription"
  5. Confirm cancellation

Method 2: Email Support

Email [email protected] with:

  • Subject: "Cancel Subscription"
  • Account email
  • Organization name

Processed within 1 business day with confirmation.

After Cancellation

  • Immediate: Prevents future billing charges
  • Access: Full access to paid features until billing period ends
  • No Refunds: No refund for remaining days in cycle
  • Downgrade: Auto-downgrade to Free plan after period ends
  • Data: Projects and data preserved under Free plan limits
  • Re-subscribe: Can upgrade again anytime

⚠️ Important: If data exceeds Free limits (e.g., >2 projects, >1,000 keys), delete excess or upgrade to regain access.

Upgrading/Downgrading Plans

Upgrades

  • Take effect immediately
  • Prorated charge for remainder of current cycle
  • Next full charge at new rate on next billing date

Downgrades

  • Take effect start of next billing cycle
  • Current plan features until period ends
  • No refunds/credits for unused time
  • Ensure usage fits lower plan limits

Failed Payments

If payment fails during renewal:

  1. Email notification sent
  2. Automatic payment retry
  3. Account marked "past due"
  4. 7 days to update payment method
  5. Downgrade to Free if unresolved

Update payment: Dashboard → Subscription → Manage Billing
